Please remember that you must claim the state sales tax refund (TABOR refund) when filing your state income tax return. If you claimed a 2023 refund, the TABOR refund will be combined and issued out with your refund. Unlike the 2022 Colorado cashback, no separate check will be issued.

DR 1002 - Colorado Sales/Use Tax Rates Publication

About the DR 1002 Publication

This publication is updated on January 1st and July 1st each year. All state-administered sales taxes or rate changes may become effective only on January 1 or July 1. For more information about semi-annual sales and use tax rate changes, visit the Sales Tax Rate Changes web page.

The DR 1002 lists Colorado sales and use tax rates throughout the state. The total tax rate for any jurisdiction must be computed by adding all taxes applicable to that jurisdiction. For information and assistance with home rule, self-collecting jurisdiction sales and use tax rates, refer to the last section of this publication for each local jurisdiction's direct contact information.

You can also use the Colorado Sales Tax Lookup Tool to look up sales and use tax rates in Colorado.
