To see local jurisdictions that participate in SUTS, review the following:
- All state-collected cities participate in SUTS.
- All state-collected counties participate in SUTS.
- Some self-collecting cities participate in SUTS. For local self-collecting cities that do not participate in SUTS, you must reach out to that city to file and pay sales and use taxes.

In Colorado, both state and local municipalities may have taxes that apply to your business. Depending on your specific business, you may need to go directly to a local municipality to handle your local taxes. Use local government websites for the following:
- Check local tax records: If you need to check your account records for current or previous filings and payments related to local sales and use taxes, you will need to contact your local municipality. This information is not stored in Revenue Online nor SUTS.
- File and remit local sales and use taxes directly: While many local sales taxes can be submitted through Colorado Department of Revenue systems (Revenue Online and SUTS), some cities have not opted into our online systems. To see which self-collecting cities do NOT participate in SUTS, scroll to the bottom of self-collecting cities.
- For self-collecting cities that do NOT participate in SUTS, you are required to file and pay through their local municipalities.
- For all self-collecting cities that do participate in SUTS, you can choose to file and pay through SUTS or directly with each local municipality.
