On November 16, 2022, the Colorado Department of Revenue, Division of Taxation, adopted a rule regarding prearranged ride fees. The adoption was based on the public rulemaking hearing held on November 1, 2022.

Prior to the public rulemaking hearing, the Department adopted a temporary emergency rule to set forth the manner in which the prearranged ride fees, established in Senate Bill 21-260, are collected, administered, and enforced.

A copy of the adopted rule, date of publication in the Colorado Register, and effective date may be found on the Secretary of State’s website at the link below.
