LAKEWOOD, Tuesday, Dec. 2 –The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR) is pleased to announce the opening of its new Denver Regional Service Center (DRSC), a multi-divisional hub on the Auraria Campus aimed at providing a faster, more efficient customer experience. 

DOR Releases Marijuana Tax and Fee Revenue Figures for September

DENVER - November 20, 2025 - The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR) today released its latest figures on marijuana sales and tax revenue, showing the industry's continued economic impact with over $3 billion in cumulative tax revenue collected since January 2014.

In its monthly marijuana sales and tax revenue report, DOR figures show that tax and fee revenue for September was $20,040,828, while August marijuana sales figures were $115,362,506. Complete figures are available in the table below:

DOR Data Shows Marijuana Tax, Fee Revenue Up in August

DENVER - October 16, 2025 - Revenue from marijuana sales tax and fees for August was up almost $150,000 from July totals, according to the Colorado Department of Revenue's (DOR) latest figures.


In its monthly marijuana sales and tax revenue report, DOR figures show that tax revenue for August was $20,503,684, while July marijuana sales figures were $115,724,688. Complete figure are available in the table below:

Marijuana sales tax revenue tops $3 billion in latest DOR monthly report

Denver - Aug. 21, 2025 - Marijuana sales have raised over $3 billion in tax and fee revenue according to Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR) data.

In its monthly marijuana sales and tax revenue report, Department of Revenue figures show that tax revenue since legalization reached $3,012,831,657 after sales in July generated $20,354,753.
