DENVER - January 15, 2026 - The Colorado Department of Revenue (DOR) today announced that regulated marijuana sales surpassed $1 billion in 2025. This activity generated more than $217 million in tax and fee revenue for the state during the calendar year.
According to new monthly data, Coloradans have purchased over $1 billion of regulated marijuana in 2025. The state surpassed the $1 billion sales mark through October, which helped generate $217,962,481 in tax and fee revenue through November.
DENVER - December 22, 2025 - Coloradans have purchased almost $1 billion of regulated marijuana, generating almost $200 million of tax and fee revenue in calendar year 2025, according to new monthly data published today by the Colorado Department of Revenue.
Colorado will likely surpass $1 billion in sales and $200 million in tax revenue before year’s end; November figures will be published in January with complete data for 2025 becoming available in mid-February.
