New and Revised Publications
- Firearms and Ammunition Tax Guide – This publication provides guidance regarding the firearms and ammunition excise tax enacted by House Bill 24-1349 and Proposition KK.
- Income Tax Topics: Qualified Care Worker Credit – This new publication provides information about the credit created by House Bill 24-1312 and claimed on form DR 1217.
Rulemaking Announcements
- Qualified Care Worker Credit – We recently announced a workgroup meeting, scheduled for July 14, 2026, to discuss a draft rule clarifying the calculation of, and certain requirements for, the qualified care worker tax credit. The credit was enacted by House Bill 24-1312 and is explained in Department publication Income Tax Topics: Qualified Care Worker Credit.
