The Property Tax, Rent, Heat (PTC) Rebate is now available to Colorado residents, senior adults, based on income, to help with their property tax, rent, and/or heat expenses this winter and beyond. The rebate amount can be up to $1,178 for tax year 2025.

You may qualify for the PTC Rebate if you are a full-year Colorado resident who is 65 years of age or older, or a surviving spouse 58 years of age or older. The rebate amount is based on the applicant's income and expenses.

If you previously claimed this rebate due to disability status, you will now need to claim the Disability Assistance Credit (DAC) instead. The Disability Assistance Credit is claimed on DR 0104CR and should be accompanied by DR 0104. Please visit the DAC webpage for additional details.
